We stayed in a camper cabin. It was great, clean and very nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a great time.
Awesome state park! The cabins are a great deal, and makes for a great ice fishing trip!
Unless you're fishing on or around Upper Red Lake, you won't usually find yourself around Big Bog. But if somehow you do, I would greatly recommend visiting. Part of the largest peat bog in the lower 48 states, it is a strange but very interesting place with unique fauna and flora.
Great campgrounds. Fun events. Great view over the park with the fireman's tower. Fantastic geological site with the Big Bog. Great store in the office. Buildings are nicely updated and the bathrooms and showers are really nice. Spots have electric hookups as well as options for tents.
Wonderful camp ground. Bathrooms and showers are new and kept very clean. Campground is small and close to the river with access to Upper Red Lake. I will come back again.
